dc mom/policy wonk’s musings on work, parenthood, gender, politics, and the rest of life

When I started blogging, I was a new mom and a federal employee under the Bush administration, biting my tongue so hard it bled. Blogging gave me an outlet to have opinions and to connect with others trying to figure out the parenting gig.

Lately I’ve been too busy to blog regularly, but I’m not willing to let go of everything I’ve written. I’ll post when I feel like it.

On my old site I had a warning about plagarism, because I was getting so many hits on my book reviews from people doing “research.” Bottom line: if you can find this site by googling, so can your teacher. Don’t try it.
