sign of the times
I installed TurboTax tonight in order to take the first baby steps towards dealing with our taxes. At the start, they ask you about a number of things that you might have done during the year that affect the questions they'll ask you — things like did you marry, have a baby, move, start a new job.
One of the questions was "Did you lose a home to foreclosure?"
I'm pretty sure that they didn't ask that question last year.

Yep, I think that’s right.
(Calder’s employer screwed up his pay at the end of the year and we are STILL waiting on the corrected W-2 and it is driving me crazy. By now, I have usually imported last year’s info and entered at least the income data into TurboTax, and not being able to do that is driving me…wait, I already said that. ARGH.)

Ah, but did they ask if you had a car and driver provided to you by a for-profit entity?
That may be in next year’s version, right after “Do you work for the IMF, World Bank, or UN?”

I used TurboTax over the weekend, and I had the same thought.
